Awesomely, I Am Alive

While it may be sad that Terence is back, it has been scientifically demonstrated it's pretty awesome that I'm back. So rejoice and be merry, for in my infinite benevolence I have returned to share my objective knowledge of all things baseball.

All hyperbole aside, I'm glad to be back. I know we had a rather unceremonious exit last year, but we hope to keep this together better this year.

Coming soon will be my 100% guaranteed accurate season predictions. Last season's projections proved roughly one bazillion times more useful and legitimate than anything Joe Morgan ever said. Though technically they're far more precise than accurate, but I don't think we need to worry about nomenclature here.

PS: Regarding the misattributed claims by Terence that I have stated that he never spoke an amusing word in his life: I would never make such an erroneous and fallacious statement. The words "close enough" describing the legality and/or attractiveness of freshmen females comes to mind.

Sadly, We Are Alive

After a bit of a layoff, Alec and I have returned for some more pithy sarcasm (Alec) and relatively useless and somewhat bemused ramblings (me) that we shoot off into the great wide internet where no one is listening. Coincidentally, it's baseball season again- in fact, my favorite part of it, but I'll get to that in a different post.

From where I last left off, I actually did finish my road trip- attended a game in all 30 major league stadiums in a single summer- and managed to get four minor league ones and the Hall of Fame in to boot. 17,446 miles later, my car was on death's doorstep, I had gained ten pounds, taken a few years off my life and about 9,000 photographs, and lived the dream over 40 states and 84 days. After living essentially detached from all reality for three months, coming back to the real world of academic demands and imminent career choices was a little jarring- but I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Now that I've settled back into the (relatively) real world, (aka still in the college bubble but on my way out) it's time to get back to what I do best- talk about baseball. Even if Alec insists I have never spoken an even mildly amusing word in my life, I'll still be here, if for no other reason than to give Alec a chance to rip on me so he can feel that he has some tiny sense of self-worth.
